New York Film Academy Admissions Director Tami Alexander and Directing Faculty Member Bryan Norton participated in a private reception honoring Miss Universe China 2011 Luo Zi Lin and Runner Up Li Zihan.

The reception was held at the home of Yue-Sai Kan, the celebrated Chinese American television personality, author, entrepreneur, and humanitarian. Yue-Sai Kan was previously named “the most famous woman in China” by People Magazine.
"We are thrilled to recognize these two outstanding women," says Alexander. "It was a delightful evening and New York Film Academy was excited to be a part of it."
New York Film Academy is a proud sponsor of the Miss Universe Organization. Several past contestants have continued their training at the New York Film Academy Acting School including Crystle Stewart, Miss USA 2008, who has since booked a series regular role on Tyler Perry’s For Better or Worse, and Stormi Henley, Miss USA 2009, who recently made it to the Hollywood semi-finals on American Idol Season 10.
